Expert Utility Engineering Enhancing Both Owners and Other Professional Organizations:

Due to our specific expertise related to the water and wastewater utility industry, U.S. Water Services Corporation is frequently contracted by separate engineering firms to provide adjunct services to assist with utility system development.  In the past, utility needs were often the last phase of planning for a community development project, with many existing municipal systems overextended in their treatment capacity due to population growth, coupled with ever increasing regulatory permitting requirements related to independent systems, it is required that planning of the development needs related to water and wastewater utilities be a first step in making a decision to go forward.   

U.S. Water Services Corporation can:

• Evaluate quality of the ground water in the area by way of water sampling and geographical area assessment and historical area contaminant review for independent water systems, and determine the feasibility of utilizing any existing irrigation wells for potable water use.
• Evaluate possible interconnection to any established municipal utility systems. 
• Evaluate the feasibility to permit and construct wastewater treatment facility for the stand alone communities.  This can include evaluating the feasibility of building a wastewater treatment facility that is capable of producing reclaimed water that can be reused for public-access landscape irrigation, in consideration of minimum treatment and disinfection requirements under Chapter 62-610, F.A.C.
• Assess and review wastewater service collection connection to any established municipal collection systems.
• Prepare a preliminary design of the preferred water or wastewater treatment system with a projected engineer’s cost estimate of its design, permitting and construction costs, based upon the findings particular to the individual development site.  
• Provide overall layout for phased build-out of both the water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Provide utility construction management and oversight.
• Provide construction of the utilities, if desired through the U.S. Water Construction Services.
