USWUG provides contract operation and maintenance to the City of Audubon's Water and Wastewater facilities.  The water treatment processes located at the water treatment plant currently consist of in-line pumping, pre-aeration, reaction basin, chemical injection (Sodium Hypochlorite, Polymer, and Potassium Permanganate), four gravity filters, fluoride adition, two clear wells, back-up generator, and two high service pumps.  The WTP has a rated capacity of 490 gallons per minute, or .7 MGD.   USWUG also maintains twelve wells and one 500,000 gallon ground storage tank.  The Wastewater Treatment Plant has a rated capacity of 2.225 MGD.  The processes include, preliminary treatment consisting of a mechanically cleaned micro screen, a self-cleaning climber bar screen, circular vortex grit separation unit and a Sigma 900 refrigerated composite sampler.  USWUG also maintains two lift stations.
