  • 08/01/08:  U.S. Water received letters of recognition regarding the services provided by Donny Jaynes and Ted Scarboro, operators both assigned to the Florida Keys area.  The City of the Village of Islamorada recognized their committment to the contracted facility operations provided by U.S. Water Services Corporation, particularly related to cases of emergency service required by the Village vacuum collection system.  We are pleased to share the recognition of our staff and say many "thanks" to both Donny and Ted!
  • 04/14/08:  U.S. Water Services Corporation will be presenting at Booth #321 at the Tampa Bay FLORIDA WATER RESOURCES CONFERENCE May 4th through May 7th.  We look forward to seeing all our fellow water professionals and aquaintances.  Please make plans to stop by to visit.
  • 03/01/08: We welcome MARK HENTHORNE who has recently joined our staff and comes to U.S. Water Services with many years of accounting and customer service experience particularly related to the Water Utility Industry. Mark fills the important postion of Financial Controller - responsible for financial reporting and management, participation in onoing and annual and strategic business plans, financial analysis and reporting, forecasts, PSC regulatory reporting and providing critical oversight to Billing/Collections and Customer Service. Mark has been recognized in his professional history for developing and sharing "best practices", thereby having significant impact within the organizations which he has served. Mark holds a B.S. in Accounting and holds certification as a CPA. Mark fills an important position at a critical time, allowing U.S. Water to continue with successful growth as we have experienced in the past.
  • 02/01/08: We welcome BRAD LABELLA, P.E., to our construction division. Mr. Labella has over 12 years of experience in the planning, permitting and design of water and wastewater treatment systems. He has extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment processes, collection and distribution system hydraulics, treatment plant hydraulics, regulatory requirements and permitting. Mr. Labella's knowledge and insight related to professional consulting brings critical project management experience. He will initially assist on the City of West Palm Beach water quality and system review, subsequently providing services in the Tampa Bay area.
  • 10/01/07: We are very pleased to announce that our internal rate of success is very high for passing grades related to utility operator examinations by U.S. Water staff. As part of our continuing education program, self study is supported while employed in our company, one-to-one training is ongoing, and group training and lecture sessions are provided by our top utility operating experts. We commend all who partake in this important learning process and are proud to provide this career building support. Congratulations to all staff.
  • 10/01/07: We welcome DAVID TINOCO who has recently joined our staff and is well known for his role in successful customer service implementation. David has been specifically involved in utility services for the past 8 years providing personnel management, high levels of accountability and acccuracy, excellent client relationships and a high level of satisfactory customer complaint resolution. David has been assigned to the City of North Lauderdale customer service contract at this time and we are proud to have him as a part of our team.
  • 09/01/07: Julia Sawyer has chosen to relocate to the busy company location of Key Largo, Florida. Julia has maintained the important role at U.S. Water of Customer Service Manager in the New Port Richey office location. Recently Julia has assisted with the implementation of the new customer service contract awarded to U.S. Water by the City of North Lauderdale while also overseeing the transition of the New Port Richey customer service department to a new software program. Julia is assuming the new role of Regional Office Administrator and managing our Key Largo offiice while assisting in the regional activities. Thank you Julia for being such a team player. We look forward to your continued accomplishments.
  • 07/01/08: Update: Interior office build-out is underway and soon to be completed. U.S. Water Services Corporation is in the process of opening an office in the City of Sioux City, Iowa. This office will be located downtown and will provide support to staff assigned to the Central United States and services provided in that general area. This new addition will represent the fourth office opening for U.S. Water Services since 2003.
