U.S. Water Services Corp. is now accepting applications for a full time Business Development Manager for our Central Florida operation. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing client relationships with new and existing clients that will lead to new business or contract renewals, creating strategies to penetrate the following areas of Polk, Lake, Marion, Orange, Sumter and nearby counties.  Essential functions of the position includes: technical knowledge and understanding of water and waste water issues (certified operator a plus), understanding of the workings of municipal government, negotiation and influencing skills, excellent persuasive interpersonal communication and presentation skills, contract knowledge and experience, excellent networking and computer proficiency, ability to negotiate and close contracts, and ability to develop  projects and submit complex government proposals.  This position will also be responsible for positively representing U.S. Water and its staff to current and potential clients.

Position requires management of personnel serving municipal and public water utility clients and provides direct development of supervision, manpower and operational planning – with support from administrative corporate personnel. Development of client relationships and ensuring client contract obligations, environmental and safety regulations, and company policy compliance required. Develops and presents operating budgets and long term strategic plans for the assigned region, negotiates fees and contract renewals and participates in business development activities. Must have experience with Municipal Utility Districts, a proven track record of successful management of concurrent contracts; while developing new growth, and maintaining profitability. 

U.S. Water Services Corporation is currently seeking Dual Licensed Water and Wastewater Operators with previous management experience to provide critical oversight to utility operating services. Ability to coordinate multiple projects and O & M staff. The position directs licensed personnel and ensures compliance with environmental and safety regulations. Candidates should demonstrate willingness to develop positive client relationships.
