These corporations are private investor-owned water and wastewater utilities which are regulated by the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) or the County of jurisdiction according to Chapter 367, Florida Statutes. U.S. Water Services Corporation has or is currently managing and operating over twenty-six (26) separate private utilities through the State of Florida. These services include management oversight, operations & maintenance oversight, billing & collections, revenue reporting, fund transfers, regulatory oversight, regulatory filings, governmental liaison, customer complaint resolution, and homeowner association liaison.

U.S. Water Services Corporation is highly recognized by the regulatory agencies as possessing extensive regulatory experience and management oversight. U.S. Water Services Corporation also maintains a collegial professional relationship with the consumer advocate, the Office of Public Counsel (OPC). U.S. Water Services Corporation has successfully negotiated settlements in rate proceedings with the OPC and HOAs. In addition, U.S. Water Services Corporation also formally participates in rulemaking proceedings at the Public Service Commission on behalf of its clients to ensure fair and impartial treatment.

Homeowner Association and Governmental Liaison

U.S. Water Services Corporation maintains an ongoing liaison with homeowner associations and other governmental agencies on behalf of its private utility clients. A utility manager regularly maintains contact with and regularly attends homeowner association meetings at the request of customers, as well as attending governmental meetings on the clients’ behalf. This also includes responding to HOA requests concerning customer complaints. U.S. Water Services Corporation works cooperatively with the HOA to offer alternatives to utility capital improvements and/or requirements.
