The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Palm Beach – Treasure Coast Students of the Year

U.S. Water Services Corporation makes a charitable donation to the 2020 Palm Beach – Treasure Coast Students of the Year campaign. “Words cannot express our gratitude for your generous gift toward The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Palm Beach – Treasure Coast Students of the Year campaign. Your kindness brings critical resources and new hope to blood cancer patients, who are especially vulnerable during the current healthcare crisis,” says Executive Director, Pamela Payne. U.S. Water Services Corporation knows the importance of contributions to great causes like this! Students of the Year is a seven-week philanthropic leadership development program during which students foster professional skills such as entrepreneurship, marketing, and project management in order to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), the worlds largest nonprofit fighting blood cancer. The title “Student(s) of the Year” is awarded to the candidate or co-candidate in each community who raises the most funds during the competition. This program helps students develop professional skills like networking, financial planning, and public speaking to help them stand out among their peers. These students have a unique opportunity to be a part of the generation that puts an end to cancer and is providing a monumental impact in the fight. On top of all that, this program helps students gain exposure for their team, school, and community to help create awareness for cancer research funding.
